If we’re building up an ongoing resource, I may use brief excerpts of previous content I have written for you for context.

  • I tend to use an “Expert Friend” writing style—making the writing easy to understand and sharing your expertise, ideas, products, and services in a straightforward and helpful way. I use an active-voice, second-person approach to create a connection with the customer and convey immediacy in the content.

  • Yes. I will read and research online content so that I understand the topic you need me to write about.   • Yes. You can find my latest writing prices on my dedicated pricing page. The prices are based on the complexity and length of the work and are true for the vast majority of content that I write. In some unusual cases, the price may increase, but I will let you know ahead of time.

    I never inflate word count, and if I go over the agreed word count of my own accord (i.e. without instructions from you), I never charge more.

  • The first couple of times that we work together, I will ask for payment before starting work. Once we have an established relationship, I invoice at the end of the month for any work completed in that month. I use standard 30-day payment terms and you can pay by credit or debit card, check (in the US), or direct bank transfer.

  • My standard turnaround time is twelve working days from when I get the brief back from you. Depending on my workload, I can return work more quickly than that.

  • I’m pleased to say that in all my years of freelance writing, I’ve never had a major issue with client expectations and the work I produce. Even if the content doesn’t completely meet your needs, I provide reasonable revisions as part of my price.
